The internship program is for a minimum of six (6) months with the intern based in the MFA office in Manila, Philippines. Interested candidates need to be able to work within a team, work well under pressure and be able to handle multiple tasks. Desired qualities include excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Applicants should be well-organized, self-motivated and reliable, with a strong interest in international human rights. Relevant coursework is highly desirable, and knowledge of foreign languages is a plus. Computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Internet applications) are required.

- West Asia Networking
- Gender and Feminization
- Decent Work for Domestic Workers
- Research and Publication
Duration and Work Hours of Interns
MFA internship program is for a minimum of six (6) months with interns reporting to the MFA office in Manila, Philippines. Interns be working full time at the MFA Secretariat from9AM-6PM with one(1) hour lunch break. Working days will be from Monday – Friday. Some activities will require the intern to travel together with the Secretariat team members.
The intern can also be asked to contribute to other activities of the Secretariat.
Travel Expenses and VISA (for non Filipino interns)
Interns are responsible for all travel expenses to Manila, Philippines and back to their home country. They must obtain necessary visa in compliance with Philippine immigration. MFA will be able to provide a support letter for visa application purpose.
Allowance and Stipends
MFA does not have paid internship and does not provide stipends for interns.
